Audio Movie Reviews: Let's Do This - November 5, 2009. Take two.

Alright, ALRIGHT GAWDDAMMIT! here's the second part of our four LDT. This half is actually trimmed down to a nice hour and half and mostly is centers on reading emails, but should still be just as fun as the first half. Thanks to everyone that enjoy what we do so much that you actually bothered to demand more. We feel special right now. And for those who haven't heard the first portion I've left it down below where you can hear about the Taco Bell Vampire, hipster hatred, 80s black R&B singers with fake British accents, sampling for hip hop music and their original source, James Cameron's 'Avatar', and what makes a film a classic. Korey
Also, here's some fan art we metioned in the shown from longtime listener Timmy Cupcakes. Thanks Timmay!

Coming out of lurk mode.... Man, you guys had me rolling on Rockwell! while I have to give Jimi his props, I think Chuck Berry would have something to say about that! .But to Corey and Co Host : You know why Micheal Jackson sung all those songs? So you two wouldn't have to! :) Keep the good work up!

Who Framed Roger Rabbit is one of my all-time favorite movies, I mean I REALLY wish I had written the script for that because it was brilliant. Every line is memorable for me.

Mission To Mars - worst score ever. I remember sitting in the theatre thinking - not a great movie, not terrible, but the music kept.... well,... interrupting me - taking me out of the film. Horrible. (I know the question was sound tracks not scores, but it had to be said.) The Crow Soundtrack was the last cassette tape I ever bought. Still have it, but I've downloaded it digitally. Is it still considered an illegal download when you've already paid for it in a different format? Things that make you go hmmmm....

You know what's weird as shit, I'm drawing a bat right now, and lo and behold, you two knuckleheads start talking about vampires and bats and so forth!

I'm laughing my shit off at Orson's antics, and this is like the 2nd time I've heard it. The mofo sounds like Torgo from Manos: The Hands of Fate! "The Master has always been celebrated for his excellence."

Illmatic... Korey I knew you had good tastes but that is the best CD I've ever heard. So cool that you like it. I've probably played that CD twice as much as any other. Also, I love LDT. You guys are the best.

Great show I love it. Who framed roger rabbit is a classic. Its one of the few of its kind that worked. I'm not a fan of mo cap. I can see why they want to do it Joanna Cassidy who played Dolores looks so old. Avatar might be ok.

Hey guys, the reason why that Arcade Fire song 'Wake Up' was only in the trailer because Spike Jonze said that he listened to that album non stop while writing the WTWTA script. Just an fyi ;)

Karen O and a little band she got together called 'The Kids' wrote and performed the entire soundtrack for Where The Wild Things Are- and for all you indie music lovers out there, Deerhunter's Bradford Cox as well as MGMT made contributions here and there (really cool.) And I agree, the music was a definite plus for that movie, and it's a wonderful record. I loved almost everything about it including the music, but that's just me. And we already gave you guys enough crap about that ;) I'm actually somewhat of a indie/hipster kid, but I'm not quite as extreme a lot of the guys you described haha. But I do like the retro/rustic look a lot, so you can sue me if you like (haha.) This is a score (not really the same deal), but the Lord Of The Rings soundtrack fits the tone and style of the film perfectly and helps it a great deal. Just hearing that main theme brings back many a sad memory...I will never forgive Frodo for leaving. :( But above all, thank you guys SO MUCH for taking the time out of your busy, hectic lives to re-record the show. It just proves how dedicated you are to your fans (and they're all awesome to the core) and it was a really sweet thing for you guys to do. So I salute you, Korey and the T-3000 Model Sidekick. >

Keep on trucking, guys. No one does this quite like you ;) -Chartreuse

In the opening scene of "Antichrist", there is a clear, black and white close-up of a dick penetrating a vagina in slow motion. I just thought it was weird that that would slip Co-Host's mind. But everything else in the film is pretty messed up as well, with a lot of the imagery being so shocking that it may have overshadowed the aforementioned slow-mo penetration. But I figured Co-Host would have stored that image in his hard-drive or something, what with him being a robot and everything.
