Matinee - The 3-D effect is a little disorienting but neat at the same time. I was so distracted by all the 3-D visuals that I missed little parts of the movie here and there, but I'm sure that's just me. Didn't quite live up to my expectations of my beloved childhood book.

This was a funny movie, fun to watch, and did make me hungry. There were a bunch of jokes that worked very well. I love this movie all the way through and I liked that there were NO FART JOKES! Very high Full Price!!

Great graphics and 3D. There were some real funny and clever moments here, but also other moments that seemed uncreative and lazy: almost as if there were two different writers here. Character development and dialogue were lacking as usual in modern films. It's almost as if they assume the average child or family is so dumb that they need not bother with story development or clever dialogue. This film gets a MATINEE.

Well ended up going to see it after all, intended to see it in 3D but ended seeing the 2D version but I enjoyed it wall the same. The art style was simplistic but it was all pulled off with style. I was happy to pay full price.
