After the high rating here at spill and the great reviews I went to see this with my friends a day after the premiere. My expectations were way to high because of all the praise for this movie. The movie was good, but not great. I missed a lot of things and it wasn't as fast paced as I thought it would be. I think you should see this movie while not having too high expectations and then it's fine. For me, personal, it would have been better to rent it and see another movie in the cinema.

who the hell mentioned sequel for this movie? This is one of those movies, that really, more than anything Do Not Need A Sequel. You guys remember Highlander 2? Yeah you do. You don't want to, but ya do. If this movie were to get a sequel it would be called district 10, and the aliens would end up coming back. . . with LIGHT SABERS!

Better Tha Sex... There wasnt much Advertising for this film Down under in Australia so I went in not quite sure what to expect and was pleasantly surprised. Hopefully it turns into a Trilogy or at least a solid sequal.

One word to describe this movie: Awesome! I couldn't agree with the review any more: BETTER THAN SEX!! This is unlike anything that you've see before. It is action packed, gripping, gory, funny, and scary all at the same time. I can barely describe in words how much I loved this film. It has surpassed Watchmen as my favorite movie, and it will probably hold that position for a LONG time. If you haven't seen this movie... SEE IT!!!!!

Hi, I'm new here at spill, "you all got me at hello"... men... I really liked this movie, it make me think from all kind of discrimination and the whole apartheid right there in south Africa, and apart from that it kept me entertain trough all the film. What could have been a gripping political drama with a sci fi back ground, instead regresses to a ultra violent shoot-'em up. It is a sad copy cat-ish mix of The Fly, Aliens, and The Rock in all the worst ways. Started off okay but then regressed to a Halo/Half-Life 2 type of movie. I was very disappointed :/

I just watched this last night. It wasn't what I expected. It was better. The transition from documentary to the main story sequence was smooth and flawless. The characters, the situations, the environment were all believable. I just love how emotionally captivated I remained, I could not tear my eyes away from the screen. (Despite the asshole behind me who had already seen it and kept saying to his companion "This part is gross" or "this is cool" or "this part is sad", but I digress) This is probably the best piece of speculative fiction I have ever seen. I have never been so content to hand over my 10$ to see a movie. Without a question one of the best films of the year...as well as in my top 10 list of all time. I am telling all of my friends to see this film. Without a doubt, better than sex.

Tazz, his accent was fine. I don't know if you have ever been to Africa, or Johannesburg for that matter, but people there have like 17 million different accents and dialects. I'm sure his fit in there somewhere. ;) This movie was amazing. I just finished watching it for the 6th time, and I still get teary eyes when they test the weapons with Wikus. That is such a heart wrenching scene. And whoever said they didn't like movies where humans are the bad guys...take a look around, man. We ARE the bad guys.

I saw this at the movies and was blown away by it. I can't wait for it to come out on DVD. The movie was kinda slow at the start for me ,but i understood way they did it that way as the movie progressed. I have told all my friends and co-workers about this movie.
