This film is definitely Full Price. What's wrong with you guys? I disagree with your review here. It was the most unique film experience of 2009.

my suspension of disbelief was sorely tested by this movie, another movie with this title is far more entertaining.

I think you guys were too hard on this movie. I loved it. I'd give it a high full price.

This really is a strange movie. The whole theater was sold out. We were sitting on the highest seats :) and at the end, people applauded when that German guy got a face cut (you know what I mean ;) ). One part of it is totally awesome, while the other part is too slow and too much storytelling. After the movie we were pretty disappointed with the slow side and my friends said the movie was total crap. But when you let the movie sink for a couple days you will begin the appreciate it more. It really is a strong story and there are enough scenes you will keep remembering because it's made so smart and humoristic. E.g. the scene with the poor Maximillian was just awesome. And Brad Pitt trying to talk Italian is way to funny. So my rating is full price.

I agree with your review, this movie was good enough but it certainly wasn't great. While the Tarrantino fanboys are insistent on praising everything he does, the truth is he sort of lost it after >Jackie Brown. The guy really needs to go in a different direction; right now he's just paddling around in knee-deep water.

I am flabbergasted. How could you guys give it matinee at all ? Better Than Sex. 9/10 I had impression that, all Tarantino's previous works were a preparation for these movie. So much good.

While you guys do a lot of great reviews (which I agree with most of the time), I have to completely disagree with you on this one. This movie was, absolutely, BETTER THAN SEX!! This is some of Tarantino's best work. This, besides District 9, was the most entertaining movie of the summer. I loved it. Eli Roth and Brad Pitt were hilarious in their characters. Daniel Bruhl (great German actor by the way, see The Edukators and Good Bye Lenin!, two great movies that he's in) gave a great performance. And the way that the suspense was built up was great. I know not everyone will share my opinion (cough, johnny michael neill, cough), but I loved this. It was great! Definitely getting it on Blu-Ray when it comes out.

This movie is not BETTER THAN SEX - it's WORSE THAN CELIBACY! And lasts longer than any celibate exile should.

This, for me, was BETTER THAN SEX!!!!! I completely disagreed with your review, no offense, although I love you guys. This movie was so intelligent, smart, intriguing, and hilarious. By far my favorite movie of all-time. Christoph Waltz needs an Oscar for this. Wow, I cannot believe you gave it a matinee.... once again, this is BETTER THAN SEX for me!!

Problably the biggest Full Price, before entering the Better than sex ive seen... A few scenes are a bit to long... but the dialogue is just perfect... no wonder this is a Tarantino movie, it kept me remindming of Pulp Fiction in almost all scenes...

This movie has to be one of the most entertaining films I have seen this year. This is Tarantino at his best. The dialogue is very witty, and the chilling monologue vocalized in the first 20 minutes of the movie by Christoph Waltz, as Col. Hans Landa, has to go down as one of the most memorable monologues, by a villain, in cinematic history. You know a film is well written when a true sense of nervous suspense can be induced, not by intimidating flashes of weaponry, or other visual flourishes, but merely by the words spoken by the principle antagonist. Christoph Waltz definitely deserves an Oscar nod for this role. I put him right up there with Hannibal Lecter as a movie villain that will measure the substance of every other villain that comes after him. Every single actor in this film, aside from Waltz, was believable in this movie. This is no small task when you consider that the basic premise for the film is about vengeful Jewish Nazi hunters with a penchant for sadism and a little French woman's terrorist plot single handedly ending WWII. The premise seems, on the face of it, to be patently absurd. But this is Tarantino’s alternate universe, and this universe, as bizarre as it is, is given credibility thanks to the talent of guys like Pitt and actress Melanie Laurent. I recommend this film, even to those people who despise subtitles, which comprise about 80 percent of the dialogue of this film. For those who, for one reason or another, cannot keep up with subtitles, I recommend that you should at least rent the movie when it comes out on DVD, and give it a chance, even if you have to pause the film every five minutes to keep up with the dialogue. It’s worth the effort. Tarantino is the maestro of movie dialogue.

This movie was actually better than I expected. Even tho it was kinda slow in parts, it was never boring. The storytelling was fantastic. Christoph Waltz absolutely stole the show. The dialogue was superb, and he pulled it off so convincingly...I feel kinda bad for liking a Nazi so much, lol. Every actor did a GREAT job, imo. Well, maybe except for Eli Roth. But that could just be me. Something about his face just fucking annoys me, so I might be bias there. Awesome movie! Can't wait for the DVD release.

Ha I loved this movie the beginning is amazing! And it’s pretty funny The only problem is that I heard that this movie was all bloody but it wasn’t that bad. I’m used to horror movies and blood and this was a little short for all that gore hype And the movie kinda drag on some parts but the ending just went by hella fast! It was awesome =] oh the bat and carving part are prettty bad ass!! and the bullet in the leg =]

Before I say this, let me say that I consider myself a Tarantino fan. I loved Reservoir Dogs, Pulp Fiction and Kill Bill. I did not enjoy Death Proof at all. This film for me was a bit of a mess. The characters are just so cardboard. When Corey says he is sick of Tarantino's 'film school' I am with him. The opening was great, but after that Pitt (with a terrible accent) and Roth come in and these characters have no interesting features. Just brutal torturers. I honestly think Pitt sucked it. When Pitt is wandering around at the film premiere saying an Italian line with an American accent, wouldn't the Nazis have noticed. Bring back characters like Bill in ' Kill Bill' Quentin. Interesting characters, not just thugs.

I hated this movie! At first I had District 9 as my favorite movie of 2009, and then this comes along! Now I don't know which is better. Still Better than Sex. Love that German Jew Hunter-Christopher Waltz. QT did a great job on this. To me personally, I loved the dialogue, I don't know why everyone else was bored with it, but I think maybe the commercials threw people off. This is a hardcore thriller where the dialogue makes it seem like a courtroom drama, and each exchange makes you cringe as it could be the end of a character. Poor Maximilian.

The brown nosers in Tarantino's entourage need to stop telling him that he has a great talent for writing dialog. Granted, after Reservoir Dogs and Pulp Fiction I, too, believed that was the case. But since his return from slacking off in Hollywood society circles, Q has made it clear that he has only one voice... Now it's getting annoying and ruining what could have been decent movies. I hope that's not the case with this film, but the review, forgiving though it may be, suggests it is.
