Just discovered your site and LOVE IT! You guys are awesome! I agree with all your review comments for the movie...It makes you feel like you're really there in concert...not all of the camera work is great and he does "save" his voice for most of the rehearsal process as he says so many times...the mini films that were to be woven into the show were amazing...I would have loved to have seen more of Michael being candid...although we did see some of that...and yes if you're a fan of MJ or his music then you will find yourself rocking it at the theater...GO SEE IT!

It figures that this received a positive review. Remember when everybody HATED Michael Jackson, calling him a child molester among other things? He was constantly in the news in a negative way. People called him a nasty pervert. Now that he passed away, everyone likes him again. It's either that, or they "remember the time" when he was at the top of his game.

Great review. I went into the theater last week not expecting much, but I was very impressed. It brought back a lot of memories of watching his music videos back in the 80's and 90's. The Smooth Criminal and Thriller pieces were the highlights for me. Watching him work is inspiring. If you're a MJ fan, you'll appreciate the effort he was putting into the show.

I liked the review. Personally I don't think that behind the scenes and rehearsal footage of a concert equals full-price movie. Hell I wouldn't pay full price to see concert footage of The Beatles or The Who, and I love those bands more than I like Michael Jackson. But I guess to each their own. I'll wait for this to be shown on VH1.

These arguments are ridiculous. Micheal was a very weird...probably gay...individual, but what drug addict do you know that isn't weird? I have to agree with Shalom. If 'The Freak' had really done anything to those kids, there's no way in hell that money would've satisfied the parents of the "victims". You couldn't pay enough to cover the emotional trauma. Weird...yep. Drug Addict...yep. Overrated...yep. Gay...probably. Pedophile...I kinda doubt it. And as for OJ, he may not have killed Nicole and Ron, but he certainly hasn't done himself any favors by acting like an ass since being acquitted. I was forced to see this movie. I've never been a fan of Michael's music....no substance to it...but I appreciate the work he puts into his performances. Yet, this will only appeal to Jackson fans. All others should spend there 2 hours doing other things.

I'm not saying he wasn't wierd guy, cause he was. But I'm not gonna parade one side of the story as the absolute truth without knowing for sure. Everybody know's these people had motive to lie: MONEY. And if your any kind of decent person, your not gonna want money from someone who raped your kid. Your gonna want them in prison. Well prove to me that O.J did kill his wife? Everyone says he did, and if people are so fucking certain, how come he didnt get in jail for it? Hm? And my proof is where he said he slept in the same bed as some kids, in an interview. Jackson says they were laying with him tucked under the sheet. He didn't have sex with them or anything, only sleeping under same sheet as the kids. Only that, the touching of someone, and certainly in a long period, like sleeping, can be considered as sexual. And since he was over 25, and these kids under 16, he was doing an act of pedophelia.
