I was so waiting for the ghostbusters to come bust through the door or something that would have made the movie much more fun to watch then what really was on there. Also not all couples are that dumb I mean I'd be gone before the credits started and all that there would be is an empty bed room for like an hour.

Didn't this movie come out like a month ago, if so, this review is very very late, but still, good review as usual!

Wow, I didn't know Christian Bale and Wesley Snipes were in the black version of "Paranormal Activity."

what the hell this movie was AMAZING!!!! especially considering the $15,000 budget it was made on. The movie wasn't scary until the very end, and it's entertaining to see the ladies freak out when they're watching it. I enjoyed it, it definitely deserves full price, at least a very high matinee

Hahaha those last animations of Korey going crazy and the Satan-ghost were awesome. Nice work!

People seem to be pretty polarized on liking or disliking this film. I fall in the liking it camp. I went in with very low expectations, so I'm sure that helped things. This wasn't really a horror movie... I watched it as a nice character study on people. I liked the actors' chemistry with each other... tones of voice, word choices, body language... it all looked pretty authentic. You actually grew to like and care for them. It was fun hearing certain girls in the audience freak out on the small events that happened during the second half of the film. There were a few brief times I was wondering when the hell the movie would end, but then something interesting would happen again. The ending? I think I like the original one over the theatrical version (I can't find the third one anywhere). Oh, and I dig me some Katie Featherston... mmmm mmmm!

It's one of my favorite films this year. It's a hell of a better film than Blair Witch ever was. FULL PRICE!!!

I'm really glad this review got animated as the ending bit is some of the funniest stuff in any of these reviews! Good stuff! I gotta agree with Leon, but I'd still say its a rental for the people who like this stuff, and at least its something new, not another damn remake.

and by scares I don't mean "jump!" thrills, I mean creepy, kinda hard to fall asleep without being relatively freaked out kinda scared

guys, the original ending is much much better than Spielbergs changed ending (the theatrical one) and if you can find a way to see it, check it out. it should be on youtube. as for the movie I loved it. I saw it online alone in my bed at night, which is absolutely the way to see it if you're looking for scares. Later I saw it in theaters for a new experience, and it is incredibly different. If you want FUN, go to theaters, if you want SCARES, watch it alone in the dark. This ranks in my favorite horror movies since 2000, which is incredibly limited (only Dawn of the Dead and The Descent come to mind so far)

I hate to say it... But watching the audience’s reaction was more fun then watching the film itself... The film read like a book and you were able to tell when something was going to happen if you paid attention. Nothing ever took me by surprise, and like Korey, I was laughing the entire time. Personally if I were to purchase this video, I would put it in the Comedy section of my collection. Rental.

Man, I was a little more alarmed by the idiots in the theater screaming over this stupid movie. This movie was boring and uninteresting. It's a very bad riff over the Blair Witch Project. I probably would have enjoyed this by myself than in the theater, but because that didn't happen, it just wasn't worth it to see this movie. This is Some Ol Bull Shit! And yeah Leon, I agree. Ghost Hunters is bull shit.

I'm just going to put this out there - look at the footprints. Small feet, three little toes? Doors opening and closing as if some unseen Force was controlling them? It wasn't a demon, it was friggin' Yoda. "Hmmm... Butterface is she... mess with her douchebag boyfriend I will..."
