Russian-born author Ayn Rand's iconic 1957 novel comes to the screen after repeated attempts at a film adaptation in this feature starring Angelina Jolie as protagonist Dagney Taggart. Helmer Vadim Perelman (House of Sand and Fog) directs from a script co-written with Braveheart's Randall Wallace, who was originally scheduled to head the Lionsgate production.
