His personal life on a hopeless downward spiral, hard-drinking songwriter Zachary Blasto (Alvin Brown) loses himself in a series of vivid musical fantasies in order to avoid the bleak reality of his mundane life. Based on the album by the same name, Rainbow Around the Sun finds fantasy-prone musician Zachary forced to choose between facing his demons or surrendering himself to the insanity of his imaginary world after being confronted with the pain of losing a dear loved one.
