I hate that everyone says its a rip of LOTR! I mean, Lewis and Tolkien were like best friends and I´m sure they inspired each other while they both wrote their books. Maybe it was Lewis that invented the living trees and Tolkien was like -Ah, I got to have living trees in my own book too. I mean, we´ll never know wich idea it really was. So we cant say that Narnia is a rip of LOTR And what if they would have made a movie of Narnia first and then LOTR... then we maybe would have called the LOTR a rip of Narnia... anyway, this movie was awesome and way more better than the first one!

Man if anyone like this one just wait until Voyage of the Dawn Treader. By far the best book and if the even come close with the visuals in the movie it's going to be kick ass. That one is next.

I thought his movie was really great. I liked it alot more than the first. It good for kids, but also great for adults too. I'm a real Fantasy geek, and I love pretty much everything about this movie, except, probably, the plot. At first there seems to be a plot then it's just action and fighting, though those seems were great, and they had great special affects. I give it FULL PRICE!!

I kind of thought the movie was BORING but it had a good story. The actors were bad at acting exept for the older sister who was pretty good lookin and the older brother was an okay actor to.

It was great movie! I don't understand why people said the main problem with the movie was the action! Well, thats what makes this one better. The first movie, it was good but it took forever to get to the action. This time, they are going to heavy action scenes! It isn't as good as Lord Of The Rings but its pretty damn good!

The second movie of The Chronicles of Narnia in my opinion is better than the first one. It is a film that defies the most creative imagination. It is full of action, adventure and the humor is excellent. The CGI are so impressive and the effects astonishing. The cast is practically the same of the first movie except for Sergio Castellito as King Miraz that by the way his performance was a little confusing because at first he seems the worst villian and then he becomes kinda weak. The for kids seems more mature and it notice in their performances. The movie is a little bit too long but it doesn't get tiresome. To conclude, the movie is enjoyable and entertaining, perfect for all ages.

Awwww... It's too bad I wasn't able to join in on the review of this movie because, unlike the rest of the guys, I wasn't so bedazzled by the special effects as to not notice how >LAME this movie was. I felt every bit of it's neverending 2.5 hour running time. The first half is a pretty boring ripoff of Hamlet and the second half is Lord of the Rings-lite (complete with living trees joing the battle at the end. And the title of it should've been Prince Pussyan, because he was the most limp-wristed excuse for a "hero" I've ever seen. All we did was whine and shy away from doing anything that required him showing some backbone through the entire film. I will say that Korey was dead-on about Aslan being an Ashole.

Oh, I'm sorry, Ms. Go...defending something with a short, terse comment about a film based on a book is being a super-nerd? The movies are being faithful to the books. If they weren't people would complain about that. But people find anything to complain about these days. Even you, a person I was obviously not talking to.

I'm disappointed, y'all, more mature. Really? This is a matinee, for me. I thought "Arwen did it." twice (that opening chase scene and the water scene, especially). And bloodless battles, just bother me. Y'all missed the slashy sub-text between Peter and Caspian, which is the reason for girls to see this. Both are rather boy band pretty. Overall this movie should have been more distinguishable. Fantasy films all are kinda running together, these days. The asshollyness of Aslan and those Arwen scenes were the dealbreaker for me, even with the added funny.

Hardcore, YES, scenes directly copied LOTR: THE MOVIES We are talking about movies, here. And YES I've read the books. We get it. You're a fan, the annoying super-nerd type who cries like someone stomped on their puppy, if someone disagrees with you about it. Say it with me now. "It's just a movie."

And just for the record (possible spoiler for people not familiar with the story): Aslan is the creator of the entire Narnia universe, so all of the "references to Jesus" are pretty much SPOT ON. He is the God of that world. And as such, as they say in the final book of the series ("The Last Battle") he is NOT SUPPOSED TO DO ANYTHING BECAUSE IT'S THE JOB OF THE MORTALS TO SETTLE THEIR OWN PROBLEMS. Sorry, but I am sick and damn tired of people letting loose on this movie because of the "Christian undertones" and the "Lack of plot" and crap. So it's okay to do that with Narnia, but the MOMENT someone says something about Potter everyone's all.. "Oh, but it's a series so...blah blah blah..." Narnia is a series, too you know. Don't expect everything to be so tidy story-wise. And Voyage of the Dawn Treader is the last one they are making into a movie as far as we know but it is NOT THE FINAL BOOK. So you're not gonna be satisfied there either. Bunch of whiners.
