there were a lot of things they never explained in this movie. maybe someone can explain them for me so when she opens her eyes for the first time after the sugery, she sees a shadow.< well honestly this shadow looked more like a man. > and your like WHAT WAS THAT? and later you find out the shadows are death. but no one died when she saw this shadow. when she was in the hospital when that old lady died, she like got all mad and after she had gone on with death she was still bothering her. no one else did that. when she was in the coffe shop, that freaky lady like LUNGED over the table at her. no one else got that mad at her. and then there was that hand print in the sugar. why didnt it fade away like the hand print she got on her arm? and if that fire in the chinise resturant was in the papers and news wouldnt people have been talking about it? it didnt seem to far from her house, wouldnt she have known about it? and when she was in the resturant, wouldnt someone have seen her sitting there doing nothing? i mean when she was holding that one girl the docter came in and saw her holding her arms out like a crazy, cuz he couldnt see the chick. ok all in all this movie wasnt that good. it was kinda sad really. jessica alba is to good of an actress to be in a movie that was this bad. but anyway, if someone could explain these to me that would be GREAT.

Standard PG-13 horror movie. Below average in every way. I'm surprised this even got a Rental. It was basically the same movie as One Missed Call and Shutter.

I kinda liked "The Eye," and the remake has Alba as the lead, so I'll definitely rent this one when it comes out. I'm sure you've all made the connection already, but if all these new horror flicks seem familiar, it's probably because they're all ghost stories. It's just one after another. They're really milking that genre.

... Oh brother. I ain't buying it, ya know? A blind girl getting a pair of eyes that make her see dead people. How many movies got involved with sensing dead people?? The Sixth Sense, Blink, Constantine, Ghost, The Frighteners, etc. Seeing or hearing dead people is getting OLD. Hollywood had better get their asses into gear and TRY to make high-quality film. I wouldn't waste a penny on this flick.

Just for the fact that she is doing something where she is playing the lead I would go to see it. I have been a big supporter of hers since Dark Angel.

everybody that's against this movie i disagree with. i liked it alot. i think it had more personal stories for the ghost, which i felt was lacking in 1408 and i liked the plot. i thought it was a good movie and i know at least 3 other people that concur. Me and the buddies spent the whole weekend freakin each other out saying there was a shadowy figure behind you. lo

I really wish Jessica Alba and her wretched acting career would just fuck off in all seriousness. How much more droll crap does she feel the need to be a part of before America realizes that a dead frog with an electric current running through it could act better then her.

When the best effect in the movie are the Contact Lenses that make Jessica Alba's eyes foggy...you KNOW you have a Peice of Shit...

So there was this movie about 9 years ago... it was called "At First Sight" with Val Kilmer where he plays a blind dude who gets his eye sight for the first time. Not a great movie, but if your favorite part of The Eye was the part where she's learning to see for the first time, go see At First Sight. I mean Val Kilmer is a better actor anyway.

Damn, Pred - you're fast. Sorry for posting this twice. Wrong edit was posted. And the last video was compressed weird in some spots. I don't know why.
